With two, 2nd place round finishes during the 2008 Victorian Drift Club Championship and finishing 3rd in the
Championship just 2 points behind the 1st & 2nd place getters of the championship, Luke shows he has the
consistency we want in our team as a driver.
As Luke did the 2006 Toyo Super Drift Series he has the advantage of the knowledge of a variety of different tracks in Australia. Luke has also attended 4 of the 7 Formula Drift events as a media guest over the course of 2009 - 2011 This information will give him and the team extremely valuable knowledge coming into events.
Luke was also a founding board member of the Victorian Drift Club, he has been the president, treasurer & event manager a various stages from 2005 - 2009. Luke has taken from these roles the knowledge of how race circuit management run there venues. And how to promote and run events.
Prior to Luke’s involvment in the motorsport of Drifting, he was a serious competitor in the motorport of Sprint Go Karting on a state level in his home state of Victoria. Luke was involved in Go Karting since he was 18 years old when he then had a means of transporting himself & equipment to circuits around the state. Luke still owns a Go Kart and will use it in the off-season as he feels that it keeps his driving skills & fitness sharp.
Luke is now commited to gettting the Drift Rush team to the top of the tables in the Formula Drift series in the USA and he would love to compete all over the world in drifting or in any motorsport that has good fan following if the opportunity were to arise.
